Welcome to I.C.T. Inmate Connect Tools LLC ("I.C.T.", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any communication or information exchange provided through platforms such as JPay or Securus. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

I.C.T. provides AI-powered research and virtual assistant tools to help incarcerated individuals access legal, educational, transitional, and personal development resources. We are not a law firm and do not offer legal advice.

Our services include:

  • General and advanced research summaries

  • AI-powered legal information lookups (non-advisory)

  • Educational content for independent study

  • Sponsor-supported access for incarcerated individuals

  • Downloadable forms and intake assistance

All content is research-based and designed to comply with correctional communication standards.

2. Eligibility

Use of our services is limited to:

  • Incarcerated individuals with access to messaging via JPay or Securus

  • Family, friends, or sponsors who wish to support a client

  • Individuals or entities acting in accordance with correctional institution policies

You must be at least 18 years old to act as a sponsor or interact with this website.

3. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

I.C.T. is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Any legal information delivered through our platform is intended for informational and educational purposes only. Clients should always consult a qualified attorney for legal advice, counsel, or representation.

4. Privacy & Security

We take client privacy and security seriously. All messages, content, and communications are handled in accordance with applicable correctional guidelines and institutional policies. We do not sell or share client information, and all communications are structured to comply with JPay/Securus systems.

5. Communication Channels

Our services are delivered through:

  • JPay and Securus email/messaging platforms

  • Sponsor email updates

We do not guarantee message delivery timelines as they are subject to facility review and approval. We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or disruptions caused by facility restrictions or platform outages.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Sponsors or clients may purchase access to our services through our secure website. All payments are processed via trusted third-party providers. Subscription details, pricing, and refund policies are explained on our Payment Policy page.

No services are rendered until payment is confirmed.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by I.C.T.—including content, research summaries, templates, and documents—are the intellectual property of I.C.T. and may not be copied, shared, resold, or reproduced without written consent.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our services for:

  • Harassment, fraud, or illegal activities

  • Circumventing correctional facility rules

  • Distributing unauthorized or misleading information

  • Impersonation or misrepresentation

We reserve the right to terminate services for any user or sponsor in violation of these Terms.

9. Modifications to Services

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any portion of our services or content at any time, without prior notice. We may also update these Terms, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Suspension Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Service Suspension by Third-Party Providers (Securus, JPay, etc.)

ICT Inmate Connect Tools LLC (“ICT”) is not liable for any disruptions, delays, terminations, or suspensions of access that result from actions taken by external service providers, including but not limited to Securus Technologies, JPay, GTL, any third-party platforms, integrations, APIs, automation tools, or service providers upon which ICT relies, or any correctional facility or government agency. Such actions may include, without limitation, system outages, maintenance, policy changes, technical failures, or service disruptions beyond ICT’s control.

11. ICT’s Right to Temporarily Suspend Services

Temporary Service Suspension for Maintenance, Compliance, or Legal Causes

ICT reserves the right to temporarily suspend, limit, or delay access to its services at any time and without prior notice due to routine maintenance, system upgrades, compliance reviews, or legal obligations. Such actions are taken to ensure platform integrity, protect user data, or comply with relevant laws, regulations, or third-party requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I.C.T. and its affiliates are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Service delays due to correctional system restrictions

  • Reliance on educational or legal information provided

All services are offered “as-is” and “as-available.”

13. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which I.C.T. operates. By using this site or purchasing services, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of I.C.T. services — including but not limited to disputes arising from data use, disclaimers, or service delivery — shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court.

The arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Each party will bear its own arbitration costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

You waive your right to bring claims as part of a class or representative action, and agree to resolve any dispute on an individual basis.

15. Refunds

All fees are non-refundable. Because ICT provides labor-based and digital informational services that cannot be reversed once delivered, all membership payments, subscription charges, and renewal fees are final. Cancellation stops future billing only; past charges are not refundable.

16. Opt-Out of Communications

By enrolling or providing contact information, you consent to receive informational calls, texts, or emails about your account. You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message or emailing info@ictcontools.com. Opting out stops non-essential communications but does not affect required notices or billing confirmations.

17. Subscription Notice

By proceeding with payment, you agree that:

  • All ICT membership fees and renewals are non-refundable.

  • ICT services involve immediate labor and digital content that cannot be undone.

  • Canceling your subscription stops future billing only; no refunds will be issued for prior charges.

  • You have reviewed and accepted ICT’s full Terms of Service.
